iPhone 5 Leaked Images 2012

I thought it would be a bit of fun to take a look at all of the potential iPhone 5 leaked pictures.

On a side note, I do not condone leaks, and all photos below have been sourced from elsewhere on the internet.

Why to buy iPhoto for iPad

Français : Logo de l'iPad

I have always been a big fan of the iPhoto Application for Mac, and was extremely pleased when Apple announced that they would be making it available for the iOS platform. Some people have been sceptical about the release, saying that it isn’t needed, but this is why I believe that it is needed…

  1. The iPad is already a brilliant device to create digital content thanks to Apps such as; Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Garage Band and iMovie. The addition of iPhoto means that the iPad is now truly just as good for media creation as a Mac is (assuming that you favour the touch interface, which I do).
  2. At a price of £2.99, this software is so cheap for what it is. By Apple releasing iPhoto at this price, they have done something which has needed to be done for a while… Shown people you do not have to pay the extortionate prices that companies have been charging for similar products on iOS and Mac.
  3. If you take photos on your iPhone, and want to edit them on the go, it means that you do not have to pull a heavy laptop out to edit, it means that you can just pull out your sleek little iPad.

Samsung Galaxy S III (3) Release Date – an iPhone Killer?

So, the Samsung Galaxy S III is due to be released in the first half of this year. The new smart phone was expected by some to have been “released at last weeks’ Mobile World Congress”1, but they have delayed this for now. The new handset is due to deliver some jaw dropping features which I’m sure the company hopes will be a killer to the iPhone:

  • Quad Core Processor.
  • 1080p Resolution.
  • 2GB Ram
  • Android 4.0
If it turns out that these features do come with the new Samsung Galaxy S, then i can see that it would be in a good situation to compete with the iPhone. My opinion, however, is that the Apple brand appears more attractive, and is therefore more likely to sell more devices.

The New iPad (3) – My Impressions

The new iPad (strangely not named the iPad 3) was released this week in a large scale event by Apple. The main features of the new device are:

  • Retina Display (Better screen quality than a 1080p TV Display)
  • HD Video recording
  • 5MP Camera
  • New A5X chip

But what does this mean to a normal human being (if there is such a thing)? Well basically, it means that the screen will be amazing quality, and that the camera is considerably better than that of the first iPad.

Leaked iPhone 5 Images?

I thought it would be a bit of fun to take a look at all of the potential iPhone 5 leaked pictures, given the amount of speculation caused in the last week.

On a side note, MedmondTech does not condone leaks, and all photos below have been sourced from elsewhere on the internet. I do not guarantee any accuracy!!

iPad 3? When is it coming? Will it be released this year?

The iPad is possibly one of the most distinctive pieces of technology created in the last decade, and It also managed to re-define a whole category of personal computing. But with success comes competition, and many Android equivalents are beginning to catch up with Apples iPad 2. Because of this there has been speculation as to whether Apple will upgrade the iPad later this year.

No, it wont be released this year, I am willing to stake my reputation on that (well I would be if I had one). Apple would be very stupid if it were to release a new version of the iPad so soon, it would anger a lot of its customers who bought the iPad two, and ultimately, Apple needs to keep its ‘Fanboys’ happy.

There would be an advantage to releasing the new iPad, after all, it would mean that its competitors would be thrown even further back into the dark by any new technology added to it. Despite this, I just cannot see Apple being so stupid that they would risk the customer loyalty that has mad the company what it is today.

“Should I Buy My Kids An iPad?”

I often hear people asking questions like this on Web forums and in YouTube comment threads. I have been reflecting on this topic quite a bit today (In my extreme boredom), and I have come to the conclusion that it is not a bad idea.

My reasons for making this statement are;

  • That it is an interactive and potentially educational item. Would you not rather your child was interacting with a controllable device than simply sitting and watching TV.
  • You can restrict a child’s access to applications, the internet and system settings far more easily than you can on a Mac or PC.
  • You can buy some very very tough iPad cases that will protect it even when it is in use, so you can be guaranteed that your kid will not break it.
Now, does that not make complete sense? Glad I could Hep!
