How To Personalise Your Mac’s Dock (With Dock Library)

One of the more irritating things about the Macintosh (and for that Matter Windows) Operating System is that you cannot change much about the way it looks and feels. As much as people may not agree with me, I find the traditional dock on OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard to be a bit boring and old. And here is the perfect solution, Dock Library from Dative Studios.

For those who don’t know, Dock Library is an application available via the Mac App Store which allows you to set downloaded dock styles (via the many websites that will come up if you do a Google search). It is risk free as opposed to some alternatives that involve entering code into Terminal which you are never sure wether to trust.

I actually cannot fault this Application. I have set my dock to look like a piano keyboard to suit my musical interest. It is a very simple application to use that I fully suggest any Mac user downloads.
